Fundraising: building relationships with larger donors.

Most charity and not for profit fundraising tends to be focussed on getting large numbers of small donations. John Kelly of Mira Kelly Fundraising Consultants will talk about the process of finding, building relationships with, and ultimately asking for that bigger gift. His talk will be accompanied by a role play example of a meeting with a donor

We also have Neil Curtis of Net Visibility with information on accessing the 10000 per month FREE google adwords offer to charities

Charity and Not for Profit Forum

Following the success of our first Charity and Not for Profit Forum at NFU Mutual at the end of October where over 40 organisations attended and David Strudley, CEO of Acorns Hospice spoke, we are delighted to announce diary dates for 2016. Please save these dates!

Based on your feedback, we will stage an event every quarter during 2017 including a conference during the Autumn. The dates are:

10 August

All events will follow the same timings and start late afternoon at 4pm and last until 6pm.

Over the coming weeks, we will confirm the agenda for future meetings drawing from some of the hot topics and requirements you raised with us:

  • How to get 5 minutes with the CEO

  • How do we build capacity to support our communities?

  • How do we move away from reliance on statutory funding?

  • Moving from silos to partnership working

  • How to engage with business

As well as great speakers and venues, networking and sharing of expertise, at each event we will provide opportunities for you to boost your learning on marketing, fundraising and much more.

Look out for a new online discussion and resources forum coming soon!

Best wishes,
Annette, John, Rob and Jon
